In 2014 BUDMC worked with the UNWTO to study how national emergency management agencies can better understand and meet the needs of tourists and the tourism business.
Travel and tourism is a vital part of national development and income, and yet many of the countries to which we travel today lack sufficient policies and plans to help them respond to the needs of tourists and the tourist profession during a disaster.
Our Travel & Tourism courses are designed to assist senior personnel from the travel and tourism industry to examine their own emergency plans and consider how to better integrate these with national and regional planning. Our courses are suitable for: airlines, cruise companies, rail and coach companies, travel and tour agencies, hotel companies, tourism destinations and event management companies.
